Beth Cook has worked in Child Protection for thirty eight years. She came to the CAC after retiring from WV DHHR. As Executive Director Beth has expanded the programs offered at the CAC.. and helped open the Mingo Center. Beth is responsible for employees, program, and budget.
Tammy Morgan joined the CAC family after a long career with the WV Supreme Court of appeals. She replaces Karen Boone as the Administrative Assistant for both centers. Tammy makes her home at Man.
Stephanie joined the Logan CAC Team in October 2020 after working as a Advocate for Victims of Domestic Violence for the Tug Valley Recovery Shelter. She brings extensive experience in victim programs in community settings. Stephanie lives in Logan with her husband and three children.
Kristin joined the LCAC family in July 2012. Kristin is trained in "Finding Words", " Cornerhouse", "When Words Matter., and Extended Forensic Interviewing. During her tenure she has conducted over 1,000 interviews including work for the FBI and DEA. Kristin is a lifelong resident of Logan and is the wife of Shane Keene and mother of 2 children. She is very active with her children's sports
Nettie joined the Mingo CAC in January 2016 replacing Brooke Honaker in that position. Nettie is retired from DHHR, has vast experience in social work and knows everyone in Mingo County
Becky is also retired from DHHR. She manages day to day case operation as well as innovative programs like Mingo Kids New View and Healthy Grandfamilies.
Okey joined our staff as a part time therapist in January 2021. Okey has spent many years working in the private sector with families in Logan and the surrounding counties. He holds a Masters degee from WVU and is a favorite with children and families.
Kim sees our adult survivors of child hood abuse and adults who have been the victim of violent crimes. Kim is a Master level Social Worker with broad experience. She also runs our grandparent/kinship provider programs.
Regina is a Sane-P Nurse Practitioner and nursing instructor at Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College in Logan. Regina operates the Kids First Clinic in conjunction with Logan Regional Medical Center.
Candice is employed as a Rape Crisis Advocate for Contact, Inc. of Huntington and also serves as a forensic interviewer for us through an agreement with Contact.
After her retirement from the CAC, Karen was convinced to return on a part time basis. She helps us with graphic design, grant writing, and special projects
Katherine's job is to support staff and programs in both counties. She is a long time WeCan Volunteer and former employee of Children's Home Society. Katherine grew up in Mingo County but now makes her home in Logan County with her husband and children.
